PlayersRep Sports Management was founded in 1997 by current agents Andy Simms and Wesley Spencer.  Today it has become one of the foremost leaders in the field of athlete representation.  PlayersRep combines a unique blend of past experience and success with personal service and attention that is normally found in only the smallest boutique firms.

The approach to representing NFL players is different at PlayersRep.  We base our entire business on the concept that quality is more important than quantity.  PlayersRep LIMITS the number of new clients it takes on each year, which allows us to focus entirely on the players we represent. 

Our team includes five licensed agents with over 40 years of combined experience as NFLPA Certified Advisors.  We have negotiated over 200 NFL Contracts as a group, ensuring that each of our clients receives the highest level of professional expertise.  Additionally, since we limit our new clients each year, we are able to make sure someone is always available to provide a high level of service to each and every PlayersRep athlete and their family.

PlayersRep aims to create an atmosphere where each client feels like he is the only client.  Hundreds of firms exist in this industry, but no one offers what PlayersRep is able to.  We are dedicated to maximizing our players potential and opportunities both on and off the playing field.  We do this through our daily commitment to service and hard work coupled with our open and honest partnerships with our players.

Andy Simms
Co-Founder in 1997. Andy signed and negotiated his first NFL contracts while a law student at Case Western Reserve. Andy oversees all operations at PlayersRep including negotiation of player contracts, marketing opportunities, coordination of financial and tax advice, and all legal services. He is a member of the Ohio Bar Association.

Wesley Spencer
Co-Founder in 1997. Wesley began his agent career in 1995 and continues to assist clients in a variety of ways. In addition to negotiating contracts, he also coordinates all off-the-field ventures, marketing opportunities, and post career counseling for all clients.

Dave Lee
Agent since 2001, Dave joined PlayersRep after working for 2 years with a sports marketing company prior to becoming a certified agent. Initially focusing on marketing and public relations for clients, Dave continues in that role but also has negotiated dozens of NFL Contracts. In addition, Dave is in charge of new client development as he directs/coordinates all player activities leading up to the NFL Draft each year.

Nate Haber
A Cleveland-Marshall College of Law graduate, Nate works on the negotiation of both NFL and AFL player contracts, assists in the procurement of marketing and endorsement deals, and researches player benefits, insurance and all legal issues as they arise.

Matt Brei
Agent since 2003, Matt joined PlayersRep when he merged his own agency ILS Sports into PlayersRep. Matt successfully founded and operated ILS Sports prior to joining forces with PlayersRep. He has negotiated numerous NFL player contracts, obtained various marketing and endorsement deals for his clients, and has prepared players for the NFL draft over his years as an agent. Prior to becoming an agent, Matt was also a football coach at the collegiate level and played quarterback in college.

Andy Zavelson
Serves as the primary basketball agent. Andy received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University. A practicing attorney, he has negotiated and structured numerous contracts. He coordiantes all basketball related services for PlayersRep clients.
